Pokemon Go New Appraisal System and Charged Attack Mechanic in PvP Preview

Trainers, a new appraisal system and an update to the Charged Attack mechanic in Trainer Battles are coming to the game and Niantic shared a short preview video on their official Twitter account.

The new v0.149.0 update brings very cool new features to the game and one of them is the new appraisal tool which players can use to learn more about their Pokemon when appraising them.

The new appraisal system will show you a progress bar with the attack, defense, and stamina of your Pokemon. This means that you’ll no longer need other apps to check for your Pokemon IVs. In addition, you can use search terms 0* , 1* , 2* , 3* and 4* for appraise level – this means that you can immediately search for all perfect 100% Pokemon in your inventory and it will be very useful for Community Day events.

Take a look at the new appraisal system in the game below.

Now, they shared a preview of the new feature, and you can check it out below.

That’s all we know for the new appraisal system so far. More info to follow when the new update is forced, so stay tuned to find out more!
