Pokemon Go Niantic Compensate for Bagon Community Day Issues

Trainers, the fourth in a row Community Day event of 2019 is over and it seems like some players didn’t have a great time during the event. Many players experienced server issues, while some didn’t obtain the Exclusive Move Outrage.

April’s Community Day event went live on April 13, featuring Bagon as the Special Pokemon, 3-hour Lures, 3x Catch XP and new Special Move for Salamance – Outrage.

During the 3-hour event, there was a server issue and Niantic extended the Community Day event and the time to get the Special move by one hour.

This didn’t help and players didn’t obtain the Special Move Outrage.

Niantic acknowledges the mistake and is now giving:

  • 1 Premium Raid Pass
  • 3 Lucky Eggs
  • 1 Star Piece
  • 1 Incense

as satisfactory compensation and you can find the confirmation email from Niantic Support below.

  1. This compensation is lame. Bagon is already rare in my area and dragon types are known good tanks for raiding. Unless they plan on having a Salamance raid event with outrage as a special raid boss move, the premium raid pass doesn’t solve the problem of not being able to get the special community day bonus. Perhaps they will have another anniversary community day where all the Pokemon from past community days are available to catch with their special moves. That’s how I was able to fix my Dragonite mistake after the first community day. I think this compensation attempt missed the mark by far.
