Pokemon Go is Not Getting New Legendary Pokemon Anytime Soon

Dear Trainers, according to the GAME_MASTER(*)file (GM) and the Base Capture Rates (BCR), new Legendary Pokemon are no longer coming to the game.

For those who are not familiar what the GM file is, I will explain it: The GAME_MASTER file is a configuration file for Pokemon Go. It’s downloaded from the Pokemon Go servers and saved onto your Android or iPhone device. It’s used to reduce the number of server requests the game needs to make and its values are used virtually everywhere in the game.

The GM file has changed and five Legendary Pokemon have lost their BCR. This means that we are not getting a chance to see, battle and catch a new Legendary anytime soon. As previously announced, 5 new Legendary Pokemon have been expected to join the game: Ho-Oh, Entei, Mewtwo, Raikou and Suicune.

What got us thinking is Ho-Oh. We expected to see the Fire/Flying Type Pokemon right after Zapdos. So, it looks like Zapdos is going to be the last Legendary Pokemon. However, I will keep an eye on the GM file and if there are any changes, you will be the first to know!
