Pokemon Go Players are Spoofing, Botting and Getting EX Raid Passes Just to Sell Accounts
The players of Pokemon Go have been reporting that other players are spoofing, botting and getting EX Raid passes just to sell their accounts online.
We can all agree that the spoofers are our least favorite types of people in the game. In the past few days, they have been getting worse to deal with. The cheaters dominate all of the EX Raid gyms with their multiple accounts.
We recently got reports of people building up alternative accounts and getting an EX Raid pass and after that selling it on a website. More than 90 accounts have been sold until now and the price of one goes from $30 up to $3,500.
But the surprising part is that the spoofers are actually advertising what they are doing. They have revealed their names along with their accounts and pictures of them doing this thing that a lot of the Pokemon Go players do not accept it. They are not scared of these things because Niantic is not taking any action on this matter.
Some of the players are also complaining that they have been raiding in gyms to get an EX Raid pass, but unfortunately, they are not getting their passes, something we cannot say about the spoofers.
It is safe to say that Niantic is letting these players make a profit off their most famous game and at the same time destroying other people’s chance to play. If Niantic wants to keep their game alive, they have to start addressing this now.
