September is here and Pokemon Go players around the globe have to prepare for the new wave of Field Research tasks, rewards, shiny forms, Research Breakthrough encounter, and much more.
Pokemon Go players are looking forward to completing the new set of Field Research tasks in September 2020 to earn cool rewards, shiny encounters, shiny Alolan Raichu, and more.
From Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Thursday, October 1, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7), Alolan Raichu will be available as a Research Breakthrough encounter. If you’re lucky, you might even encounter a Shiny one!
September 2020 Field Research Tasks and Rewards
- Catch 10 Pokemon: Magikarp (can be shiny)
- Catch 3 Pokemon with weather boost: Slowpoke
- Catch 3 Psychic-type: Abra (can be shiny)
- Catch 5 Pokemon with Weather Boost: Poliwag (can be shiny), Vulpix
- Catch a Dragon-type Pokemon: Dratini (can be shiny)
- Defeat 2 Rocket Grunts: Drowzee (can be shiny)
- Earn 3 candies walking with your buddy: Stunfisk
- Evolve a Pokemon: Wobbuffet
- Give your buddy 3 treats: Natu (can be shiny)
- Hatch an Egg: Beldum
- Make 3 Excellent Throws in a row: Larvitar (can be shiny)
- Make 3 Great Throws in a row: Onix (can be shiny)
- Make 3 Great Throws: Lileep (can be shiny), Anorith (can be shiny), Gastly (can be shiny)
- Make 5 Great Curveballs in a row: Spinda #2 (can be shiny)
- Make 5 Nice Throws: Voltorb (can be shiny)
- Power Up Pokemon 5 times: Bulbasaur (can be shiny), Charmander (can be shiny), Squirtle (can be shiny)
- Send 3 gifts to friend: Woobat (can be shiny)
- Trade a Pokemon: Ralts (can be shiny)
- Transfer 3 Pokemon: Baltoy (can be shiny)
- Use 5 Berries to catch Pokemon: Exeggcute (can be shiny)
- Win 5 raids: Aerodactyl (can be shiny)
- Win a Level 3 or higher raid: Kabuto (can be shiny), Omanyte (can be shiny)
- Win a Raid: Bronzor (can be shiny)
