Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee! Coming to Switch this Year, Players can Transfer Pokemon from Pokemon Go

There have been talks about a reveal of a first true Pokemon game for Switch. The speculations have been pointing out to an announcement this month, but we are glad to report that the news was finally delivered.

In Tokyo, during a press conference, Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! And Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! were announced. The settings of the two games are in Kanto, they have feature motion controls and local co-op. We also have reports that the Pokemon can be moved between Pokemon Let’s Go and Pokemon GO.

Also, there will be a new accessory similar to PoGO plus, and the same will be compatible with the Nintendo Switch and your smartphone but will work in a different way.

The new accessory called PokeBall plus can be paired with your Nintendo Switch and can be used with Pokemon: Let’s Go Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go Eevee!. Here is how it will work:

PokeBall plus has motion control capability, so when a wild Pokemon appears, ready a Poke Ball and try to catch the Pokemon by moving your Poke Ball plus like you are throwing it. When you catch the Pokemon, the PokeBall plus will light up and vibrate which indicates that Pokemon is in your hands.

What is very interesting, is that every time you shake the PokeBall plus, the Pokemon that are inside will make a sound.

As we mentioned above, the PokeBall plus can be used with your smartphone the same way as PoGO plus.

Here is how it will work on your smartphone:

You can play Pokemon GO without actually checking your phone. When a Pokemon appears in the area you are currently, PokeBall plus will light up and vibrate. By pressing the button on the device will let you throw a virtual Poke Ball. By showing different LED light patterns, it will inform you if you have caught the Pokemon.

Another fun thing that Poke Ball plus has: as long as it is connected to your phone and the PoGO app, it will count your steps so you can hatch Eggs and get Candy for the Pokemon you’ve set as your buddy.

Take a look at the trailer below and get ready to catch ’em all!
