Pokemon fans, a new mobile game is coming by 2020 called Pokemon Sleep, as confirmed by Tsunekazu Ishihara.

The president and CEO of The Pokemon Company Tsunekazu Ishihara announced a new mobile game Pokemon Sleep during the Pokemon 2019 Press Conference on May 28 in Tokyo, Japan. He didn’t share a lot of details, just explained: “The concept of this game is for players to look forward to waking up every morning.”

It looks like Niantic and John Hanke are all about Pokemon Go and healthy sleeping habits and he revealed that Pokemon Go will have new mechanics to encourage healthy sleeping habits in the future. Please note that Pokemon Sleep is not developed by Niantic, but with the new Pokemon Go Plus + device, both games will benefit.

The new Pokemon Go Plus + device will work for both Pokemon Go and Pokemon Sleep.

Pokemon Go players will be able to store Pokemon in the Go Plus + device and will alert them to nearby PokeStops. Pokemon Go players can use this device during the day.

Pokemon Sleep players will benefit when sleeping and/or at night. The device will track simply information about how long you sleep and will transfer data to the Pokemon Sleep game.

The Pokemon Company also announced a new mobile game called Pokemon Monsters which is set to release in the calendar year 2019.
