Pokemon Home Cloud Service can only Transfer Pokemon to Sword & Shield

Pokemon Home Cloud Service was announced during Pokemon press conference on May 29, 2019, and it was said that this feature will allow players to transfer Pokemon between Pokemon Go, the Let’s Go series and Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield.

It looks like Game Freak made some changes as director Junichi Masuda confirmed that Pokemon Home can only transfer Pokemon to Sword and Shield if they appear in the Galar Pokedex during Nintendo Treehouse Live stream following the Nintendo Direct at E3 2019 on Tuesday, June 12.

With that being said, not all Pokemon species will be available in Pokemon Sword and Shield and only 131 Pokemon out of 809 will appear in Sword & Shield.
