Prone Lean is Coming to EFT, Player Roll Left for a Later Stage

If you’ve played Arma 3, you’re probably no stranger to the player roll feature. There are multiple stances, and once prone, you could perform the roll by using the lean buttons. However, in Tarkov, that will be a tiny bit different. Tactical roll won’t exist, while prone lean will become a thing.

The developer has just released the video of the player roll feature. It is not exactly fresh, as they have done the same previously throughout another livestream. However, now, they have discussed the idea with a number of streamers, and it is looking more fluid than the previous discovery.

Below you can find the video of the prone lean mechanic:

But, on the question of when exactly is the Prone Roll coming to the game, it was estimated soon, with no further information given. We assume that it will become a thing at a later stage, especially now that Escape From Tarkov has managed to boom up to this level.

So far, once a promise is made by Nikita himself, we usually see the promise included in the game. That means that prone roll is slowly but surely making its way to this military sim experience. Not only will this add up to the military sim genre, but it also promotes more tactical and slower gameplay.

Not every raid will remain as simple as before, and these small mechanics are surely adding and explain why Tarkov’s current stand-in popularity. Transparent dev conversation is always much appreciated by the fans, and we believe more tiple-A developers will start doing this in the near future.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
