PUBG Mobile Cheaters Getting 10-Year Ban

If you used cheats to get chicken dinner at PUBG Mobile, then we have some bad news for you. Over 3,500 players have woken up today with a 10-year ban on cheating in the game, and PUBG Mobile says it’s not over yet.

The ban wave, which first launched in May 2019, targets players who use cheats, change game data and use virtual apps, and is also part of the company’s attempt to clear the game of players using external apps to take an unfair advantage.

We all know that it’s not fun to play against cheaters, and seeing the esports scene grow and grow, it’s time for PUBG Mobile to hit the mark. With the Ten-Year Ban, PUBG Corp. and Tencent are delivering a very strong message to those who dare to break the rules of the game.

In a press release, which also gives details of every player made a ban, PUBG Mobile says:

We have always strived to provide a gaming environment that is fair and enjoyable for every player while preventing cheating. We take this problem very seriously, so every account that has been violated has received a ten-year ban. We want to remind all players of the importance of fair play, and thank them for keeping PUBG Mobilefair and entertaining. If you suspect a player is cheating or using another unauthorized program to assist them during the game, use the in-game reporting system to let us know. We investigate all of these reports in detail and will let you know what we find. We will continue to discipline fraudulent players and publish IDs of cheaters that have been confirmed. Thanks for helping us make PUBG Mobile a better game.

Unfortunately, those who receive the ban will not get a chance to enjoy the latest PUBG Mobile update.
