Pudge Will Receive the Next Dota 2 Arcana Thanks to The Compendium Votes

Yesterday was another surprising day, as the hosts have revealed the compendium Arcana Votes. It’s a tradition that Valve adopted in the past, and every year at the International, there’s an Arcana Vote going on. Sadly, from all Dota 2 heroes, there’s only 1 winner. This year’s two heroes competing for the Arcana were Pudge and Rubick.

After the last year’s IO failure to get the Arcana, this year IO was excluded from the Vote because IO has gotten its Arcana by default.

It was a close fight between Pudge and Rubick, the two heroes fighting for the Arcana. If you have missed the announcement of the Winner, below you can watch the video and how close it was, from all of those 58 million people that have voted. Pudge has won the competition with a total difference of 8711 votes.

Pudge fans are extremely satisfied, as this arcana is expected to be one of the best ever. Fantasy Arcana incoming. Pudge is a hero that may get the best Arcana ever considering the abilities he owns. There must be some sick animation when a player is hooked and we expect some kind of animation on the Target’s monitor too, no matter how distractful it could be.

Congrats to all Pudge fans on your successful voting.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
