Sony Filed Trademarks for PS6 to PS10 in Japan

It has come to our ears that Sony Interactive Entertainment has filed trademarks for “PS6”, “PS7”, “PS8”, “PS9” and “PS10” on October 9th. The information came out to the public this past Monday.

It has been revealed by Sony earlier this month that their PS5 next-gen console will see the light of the day during the holiday season of 2020.

SIE’s game designer and PS4 leading system architect have stated back in April that PS5 has been already in development for whooping four years. The new gadget will be compatible with PS4 games. This is totally understandable because PS5 is actually based on PS4’s architecture.

As of June 30th, Sony has shipped more than 100mill. units of PS4 consoles on a worldwide level.
