Star Citizen adopts Staggered Development

New development progress is being adopted by Cloud Imperium Games, the developer of Star Citizen. Star Citizen, the game that is less likely to develop to a manufacturing point any time soon, is approaching a sort of new “Staggered Development.”

This sort of development process should allow the developers to focus on stable releases, such as in-game features and content to be useful and bug-free. This will involve a split between the development teams that work on a segment so that they could maintain their focus.

This was discovered during Star Citizen’s Pillar Talk. Said, this will allow the developers to unleash their effort progressively, making both the company and community satisfied. Below you can find the complete Pillar Talk video:

Quarterly releases would be a lot better for a game of this caliber. The evolution created by Star Citizen in the gaming industry is quite of a big margin, and it’s definitely a game in which you could lose yourself.
