The Witcher Is Getting Its Own Pokemon Go – Styled Game!

Earlier today, an announcement trailer and a gameplay trailer were released for an upcoming Witcher game, developed by Spokko, called The Witcher: Monster Slayer. Spokko is a development studio owned by CDPR, which is currently working on their newest game. The Witcher: Monster Slayer looks heavily inspired off of Pokemon Go, having you battle against the Witcher Universe’s foul creatures. Like Geralt, you’ll have to use your silver sword, potions, decoctions, witcher signs and more, to achieve victory. The game will also feature story elements and characters to interact with through your journey, to make it all the more impressive. Here’s a brief look on the gameplay:

In the announcement trailer, we saw the man encounter a Leshen, one of the Witcher universe’s most frightening creatures. Leshens are regarded as guardians of forests and are extremely powerful, but they are vulnerable to fire. Every monster has its strength and weakness. The Witcher: Monster Slayer is set to release soon on Android and IOs devices. Good luck on the path, fellow witchers!
