Uplay PC Windows Vista Support Ends Today

Windows Vista will officially lose its support today. This has been stated on Microsoft’s Official website, leaving its users without no choice except on upgrading their Operating System to more recent one.

By this means, all other gaming companies that were supporting Windows Vista will probably lose their support in video games and video game clients too.

Uplay PC Shuts Down Windows Vista Support

Uplay PC Windows Vista Support Ends Today

First of the bigger gaming publishers is Ubisoft, stating that the support for Windows Vista for Uplay PC client will end. Knowing that the official Windows Vista support is gone, there’s nothing left to do except end their support for the now legacy operating system. This should allow Ubisoft to move forward using newer technologies and ensuring the highest possible security for their users.

That’s what they stated. However, users using Windows Vista will still have access to their games, but, they will be unable to receive future Uplay PC client updates once the support ends, which is today.

This will pretty much leave all the PC gamers without no choice except to upgrade their Windows Vista operating system to a newer and more secure version of Windows.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
