It was a really close matchup in this best of 5 series, however, VP won the final round taking the series 3-2. Virtus Pro have shown some new tactics and picks, while also pick different heroes every next round.
As they’ve explained after the finals, it’s what they feel comfortable to do. From so many Heroes, there has to be something different to play. That’s why they prefer picking different heroes every match. Picks and counter-picks are really important in Dota 2, and Virtus Pro seems that found a new way to win games.
Hopefully, they will shine at this years The International too. On the other side, Team Secret could’ve gotten a direct TI 7 Invite if they won The Summit 7. Sadly, they failed, which is similar to Team ODD at Galaxy Battles LAN. What’s going to happen next? I guess Valve will tell.
