Xbox and Real Madrid’s FIFA Fan Tournament Agenda in the US, Their Partnership is Now Official

Xbox is the official console partner of the five-time world football team, Real Madrid. With many of their players in the global spotlight, it’s easy to see why Real Madrid is one of the most widely supported teams in the world.

Xbox is also partnering up with the fans to join in a variety of events across the states. Real Madrid Summer Tour is about to begin, and the Microsoft Century City store will make local youth groups in Minecraft coding alongside Real Madrid Players.

This is an important thing, as it encourages the youth to fight for their future. Paired up with values, skill and leadership that can be learned through sports, technology and gaming, can be a powerful partnership.

Xbox is also bringing back the Hour of Code, together with Real Madrid, Minecraft and The Boys and Girls Club of Venice to Microsoft Store in Century City, California.

Microsoft Stores will host free FIFA 17 tournaments, where fans can compete to get a chance to win tickets to a local Real Madrid match. FIFA 17 tournaments will take place Friday, July 21 and Saturday, July 22 (2 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time) at the following Microsoft Store locations:

• Microsoft Store at Westfield Valley Fair (Santa Clara)
• Microsoft Store at Westfield Century City (Los Angeles)
• Microsoft Store at Dadeland Mall (Miami)
• Microsoft Store at Oakbrook Center (Oak Brook)

The flagship Microsoft Store on Fifth Avenue in New York City will present a special Real Madrid FIFA 17 Fan Tournament, where the ones who participate will compete for a grand prize.

The preliminary round will happen on Friday, July 21 at 4 p.m. local time with a championship round on Saturday, July 22 at 6 p.m in the Mixer NYC Studio. Everyone can attend the event live on Saturday, July 22 at 6 p.m.

In honor of their partnership with the football club, they teamed up with the Microsoft Store to give away 3 unique Xbox Design Lab controllers inspired by Real Madrid’s 2017-18 on-field jersey. Also, every controller will be paired with a copy of FIFA 18, which can be played exclusively on Xbox One on September 21 via the EA Access Play First Trial.
