More details about Gray Zone Warfare revealed, AI changes, Improvements and more

The live release seems to have a lot of changes and improvements.

Madfinger Games is ready to release Gray Zone Warfare, which is coming out tomorrow, April 31. Gray Zone Warfare is quite a fantastic survival shooter, as we all have seen during the closed beta or playtest (call it whatever you want), which was served only to content creators.

We have seen some overpowered AI forces, bush camping, etc, which indirectly provided a lot of intel for Madfinger Games to settle things out before the game releases. Now that the release date is known and scheduled for tomorrow, we have received some inside info about the changes that will differ from the playtest.

Changes and improvements coming with the live release of the game

Now let’s see some of the improvements since the playtest:

  • The game won’t have memory leaks
  • The AI has received a buff, and improvements are related to shooting on sight only. This would also mean that they won’t shoot through bushes. They won’t get stuck in walls or closed areas too. Oh, and the best part is that they are not supposed to taunt players that often, which was quite annoying in the preview.
  • The hit registration is improved and should result in less spongy AI.
  • Stamina regeneration and durability are improved, too.
  • The helicopter traveling is a lot faster, and players won’t get shot on landing as they will be invulnerable for a couple of seconds after touchdown.
  • Completing quests will be quite rewarding.
  • Base raiding won’t be as easy and accessible anymore, as AI respawns in the base much quicker.

So, what do you think about these changes? Keep note that Madfinger Games has also promised a release of day/night cycle and dynamic weather coming shortly after release. I really believe that Rick is going to have a great time tomorrow. Hopefully, the servers remain robust and healthy during its launch.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
