Lab Rat

Gray Zone Warfare “Check out Computers” Quest Guide

Check Out Computers is a quest given by Lab Rat. The Lab Rat wants you to find and get intel related to the Soviet computers. Let’s see what the hush is all about.

Check Out Computers Quest Details

I need you to do something for me. The intel you brought back about YBL-1 indicates that there is some technology there that is unsuitable for its military purpose. You know, old computers and other tech. Honestly, it’s highly suspicious. The Soviets wouldn’t need that many machines just to run a hole in the ground. Pell doesn’t think we should allocate our resources to investigate this matter, but I’m of a different opinion.

Therefore, I would like you to go down to the bunker and try to find out what the Soviets have been doing there. Of course, it’s possible you won’t get anything from the old computers, but I’m still hoping there’s at least something left that can help us get to the bottom of this. Would you be so kind as to do this for me, please?

Objectives

  • Retrieve the intel and report back to Lab Rat
  • Locate intel concerning Soviet computers

Rewards

  • 2x LBlood
  • USD 5,900/50,000
  • Experience: 1000
  • Reputation: +150

Guide

The quest asks you to go inside the bunker in YBL-1, get into the Communication Room, and then get Floppy Disks from the table next to the PC and return them to the base.

How do I get to the communication room? Here:

Then, just return the item to Lab Rat and complete the quest.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
