A fortunate glitch has allowed a player to catch one of the rarest Shiny Pokémon, and fans are hoping this wonderful accident stays in the game, just like previous glitches involving the female Brendan Pikachu and male May Bandana Pikachu.
Serfsat isn’t just any Pokémon GO player, he’s one lucky trainer to have stumbled upon a Shiny like this. By completing the Pokémon World Championships Timed Research and the Catch 7 Pokémon task, he managed to encounter this rare Shiny Pikachu. Though it looks like the female World Championships 2023 Pikachu might be broken, no one seems to care, because this Pikachu is one of the most sought-after catches in the game.

I’ve finished the quest, I’ve done raids & the field research. Nothing shiny for me.
It’s not a glitch. Any Pikachu can be shiny. It is just obviously rare because of limited availability.
Because the outfit or headwear is meant for a male or female only. So the bandana picachu is only supposed to be male and the female wears a headband. I’m assuming the one with the shirt is supposed to only be male but I got a female shiny today from research so probably not that rare.
I caught the glitch shiny pikachu.
It’s dark yellow when shiny but I have normal yellow and it’s shiny. I think the male shiny is dark yellow but the female not dark yellow.
