Pokemon Go Verdant Wonders Rogue of the Jungle featuring Zarude, new Costumed Pokemon, and Shiny Flabébé Debut

Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go announced a new pay-to-play event, this time featuring an exclusive Special Research story leading to an encounter with Zarude, new costumed and shiny Pokemon, and a new set of Field Research tasks and Collection Challenges.

Verdant Wonders is a new, upcoming event in Pokemon Go set to go live on March 21, 2024, at 10 AM local time. The event will end on March 25, 2024, at 8 PM local time, and Pokemon Go players around the world will have a chance to encounter and catch Zarude via a Special Research story, catch the new costume Pokemon, Cottonee, and Whimsicott wearing a flower crown, and enjoy other features and bonuses.,

Now, to get Zarude you must access and complete the Rogue of the pay-to-play Jungle Special Research story. This Special Research story offers 2 Premium Battle Passes, 6 Silver Pinap Berries, 5 Rare Candies, 1 Incense, and encounters with different Pokemon.

To receive the Special Research, you must open Pokemon Go at some point between Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. and Monday, March 25, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. After you’ve received the Special Research, you can complete it at any time.

Ticket holders can also use Incense during the event to encounter:

As for Field Research task encounters, Pokemon Go player can encounter the following Pokemon during the Verdant Wonders event:

The Collection Challenges will give Stardust, XP, and Flower Crown Cottonee as rewards.
