As announced on Pokemon Go official Twitter account, Chansey, Mareep, Larvitar and more Pokemon are now hatching from special 2km Eggs, but only for a limited time.
A new event is now live and new adventures await. During this event, called Equinox, players can earn x2 Stardust when catching and hatching Eggs, x3 XP on new Pokedex entries, can get Special packages in the Shop, the 2km Eggs will start to hatch Larvitar, Mareep, Chancy and the hatching process can speed up with the Super Incubator by x1.5.

We don’t have a chance to earn x2 Candy or x2 XP for hatching Eggs, so the best option is to hatch these 2km Eggs until October 2 and maximize Stardust. At the end, the only thing that matters is how much Stardust a Trainer will earn for hatching.
