Is there a competitive Destiny game in the works?

Bungie is trying to expand its talent with fresh job listings.

Bungie, the developer of the phenomenal first-person shooter game, Destiny, might be up to something. According to recent job listings, the developer is hinting at a possible new video game title that will be distinct from the original Destiny, but likely set in the same universe. It will most likely be esports ready, competitive video game title. Judging by the listing, this game could be something different and on the scale with some of the most competitive first-person shooters.

The listings say that a “new exciting title” is in the works, indicating a competitive Destiny game. The job seeks a Senior Concept Artist that would focus on working on a wide range of game elements, such as guns, characters, armors, vehicles, and other seasonal art needs.

Furthermore, the job advert asks the potential candidate for a “continuous push of aesthetics of the Destiny universe.” This itself claims that the new game is connected to the Destiny universe. The job listing also asks for a field full of experience and love for competitive games, which claims that the game will be competitive. Does this mean Bungie is interested in expanding its video games onto the competitive scene by making them esports ready?
