Pokémon GO Ultra Unlock: Paldea starts soon, are you ready for the new Paldea Pokemon?

Attention Pokémon GO Trainers, get ready to embark on an exciting new adventure. Thanks to your collective accomplishments at Pokémon GO Fest 2023, you’ve not only secured the bonuses for the “A Paldean Adventure” event, but you’ve also activated a brand-new event known as Ultra Unlock: Paldea. Mark your calendars for September 10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to September 15, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time for this incredible journey featuring new Pokémon debuts and exciting rewards.

Speaking of new Pokémon, the Paldea region is bringing a host of newcomers to the game. Bombirdier will make its grand entrance, and you might even stumble upon its Shiny form if you’re lucky. Joining Bombirdier are Nymble, Lokix, Pawmi, Pawmo, Pawmot, Frigibax, Arctibax, and Baxcalibur. You’ll need 50 Nymble Candy to evolve Nymble into Lokix, 25 Pawmi Candy to evolve Pawmi into Pawmo, and an additional 100 Pawmi Candy (plus 25 km of walking with Pawmo as your buddy) to evolve Pawmo into Pawmot. Likewise, evolving Frigibax into Arctibax and eventually into Baxcalibur will require 25 and 100 Frigibax Candies, respectively.

But that’s not all; special Ultra Unlock bonuses are also coming your way. Unown letters A, D, E, L, and P will make their global appearance, with a chance to encounter them in their Shiny forms. The Timed Research featuring encounters with Lechonk will also be extended until the end of Ultra Unlock: Paldea. And you’re in for some extra perks too – 4× XP and 4× Stardust for catching Pokémon throughout the event. For $5.00, you can access exclusive event-themed research tasks that offer special rewards like encounters with Pawmi and Rare Candy.

As you explore, keep an eye out for Showcases at select PokéStops, where you can enter Pawmi or Nymble. Starting September 13, 2023, new avatar items inspired by The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask DLC for the Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet games on Nintendo Switch will be available to all Trainers.

Lastly, Trainers can purchase and gift tickets for this Timed Research to any of their Pokémon GO friends with whom they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher. Please note that these purchases are non-refundable and will only be available until September 14, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Please note that you must complete and claim the rewards before September 15, 2023, at 8 PM local time.
