Halloween 2023 Part 2 in Pokémon GO with Costumed Pokémon debuts

Finally, we have some news about the most anticipated event in Pokémon Go, Halloween 2023 Part 2.

Starting October 26, 2023, and ending October 31, 2023, Trainers will be able to participate in the second part of the Halloween 2023 event, and will also see two debuts of Costumed Pokémon, and they are the following:

  • Pikachu wearing a Tricks & Treats costume
  • Gengar wearing a Tricks & Treats costume

As wild encounters, the Pokémon that will be appearing more frequently are:

  • Pikachu wearing a Tricks & Treats costume
  • Vulpix wearing a Spooky Festival Costume
  • Murkrow
  • Misdreavus
  • Sableye
  • Pipup wearing a Halloween Mischief costume
  • Drifloon
  • Yamask
  • Zorua (Shiny Zorua included)
  • Fennekin
  • Phantump
  • Pumpkaboo wearing a Spooky Festival costume
  • Noibat
  • Gengar wearing a Tricks & Treats costume

There will also be a Trick or Treat-themed Timed Research, which will grant Trainers encounters with Pokémon like Zorua, Phantump, costumed Pokémon and more. Besides this, there will be two event-exclusive Timed Researches that will be available to Trainers starting October 19, 2023, and ending October 31, 2023. This Timed Research will be focused on catching Ghost-type Pokémon, while the other Timed Research will be focused on Spiritomb and its 108 spirits.

The bonuses that will be active throughout the whole event are:

  • Additional Candy for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice Throws, Great Throws and Excellent Throws
  • Additional Candy XL for successfully catching Pokémon with Nice Throws, Great Throws and Excellent Throws
  • Costumed Pokémon have a chance to give additional Candy when caught
  • Costumed Pokémon will have a chance to give Rare Candy or Rare Candy XL when caught on October 31

In Raids, the Pokémon that will be available throughout the whole Pokémon GO Halloween 2023 Part 2 event are:

One-Star Raids:

  • Gastly
  • Misdreavus
  • Phantump

Three-Star Raids

  • Gengar wearing a Tricks & Treats costume

Five-Star Raids

  • Darkrai

Mega Raids

  • Mega Banette

Trainers will be able to get Halloween-themed Field Research tasks, and as rewards, the Pokémon that will be available as encounters are:

  • Mismagius
  • Galarian Yamask
  • Phantump
  • Greavard

As part of the collaboration with Amazon Prime Gaming, Niantic will be giving Trainers an extra Timed Research with many rewards, including early access to the Greavard Wig avatar item. The Timed Research is already available to claim and will be available until November 17, 2023.

There will also be bundles in the Pokémon GO Web Store, the same as the Pokémon GO Halloween 2023 Part 1 event. There will also be event bundles in the in-game shop, and they will be the following:

  • For 495 Pokécoins – three Remote Raid Passes, one Star Piece and one Lucky Egg
  • For 725 Pokécoins – ten Premium Raid Passes, two Star Pieces and two Lucky Eggs
  • For 1550 Pokécoins – ten Super Incubators, five Incubators and two Incense

As part of the Ticket of Treats, there will be an event-exclusive paid Timed Research, where you will get the following rewards if you complete it:

  • Three Silver Pinap Berries
  • Two Super Incubators
  • Two Rare Candies
  • Additional encounters with Misdreavus and Phantump
  • …and more
