Pokémon GO Tour Sinnoh Los Angeles event details

Just as we have a free experience, we also have a ticketed experience. Nonetheless, both of them are great.

Starting on February 17, 2024, and ending on February 18, 2024, Trainers in Los Angeles will be able to participate in the one-of-a-kind event named Pokémon GO Tour Sinnoh Los Angeles. The location of the event will be at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles, California, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time each day.

As for the ticket, the price will be $30, but luckily for us, there is a special price until December 31, 2023, when the ticket will be reduced to $25. The ticket includes one day of event gameplay. There will also be add-ons if you wish to boost your experience.

  • Half hatch distance for eggs placed in Incubators during the event
  • Up to six Special Trades each day, no matter where you are in LA
  • Half Stardust cost for Trades
  • Increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon

Onto another ticketed feature, the Masterwork Research: Glimmering Gardens. Paying for this Masterwork Research will lead Trainers to an encounter with Shiny Shaymin, and as Niantic says, this one will be easier than the global Masterwork Research. So far, that is all the details we have.

Ticket-holding Trainers can take part in the exclusive Special Research Story, where they will be working together with Team GO Rocket. All Trainers in LA will also be given access to the event Special Research Story at the Pokémon GO Tour Sinnoh Global event.

Trainers can choose between a Diamond or Pearl badge, and the decision you make will greatly influence certain rewards and bonuses. Keep in mind, that this badge will continue at the Pokémon GO Tour Sinnoh Global event.

A Timed Research will also be available that will feature Spiritomb, the Forbidden Pokémon. Trainers should spin ten of the 108 special PokéStops scattered across Los Angeles County and Orange County to get encounters with Spiritomb. The Timed Research expires on February 18, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Trainers that will be participating in the Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh Los Angeles will be getting an increased chance of encountering Shiny Pokémon discovered in the Sinnoh region and beyond. This means that Trainers will have increased chances of encountering Shiny Stunky, Shiny Chingling, Shiny Chatot, Shiny Carnivine, Shiny Pachirisu and more.

Something that caught my eye upon reading the official news is definitely the Legendary Photo Opportunities. Trainers can encounter Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf in the wild, and get this – if you take a snapshot of them, you will be rewarded one more encounter. Amazing.

Boosted chances of receiving Field Research will be given to all ticket holders, and all of these tasks will feature Pokémon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region.

Now, onto Raids. To be honest, there is a really fun schedule. Each of the Raid Bosses will be appearing for the first 30 minutes of every hour during the ticketed event hours. Take a look.
