Pokemon Go Type Effectiveness Feature Now Live, No Need to Memorize Type Charts Anymore

Trainers, Niantic and Pokemon Go are making some significant changes at the end of the month. Following the introduction of the Heal All, Revive All, and Solo Raid Button features in the game, they’ve now added another significant Quality of Life (QoL) improvement, Type Effectiveness tooltips.

The Type Effectiveness tooltips feature, initially spotted in the Pokemon Go GM file by the Pokemod Group a week ago, is finally being implemented. After over seven years since the game’s release, this long-awaited feature is making its debut.

The Type Effectiveness feature is not Rocket-science and it’s easy to use.

During the Raid team selection, a ‘?’ mark will now appear next to the search bar. Clicking on this will display information about the Raid Boss’s weaknesses and the most effective attack types to use against specific Pokemon.

The Type Effectiveness tooltips feature is already live in the game, so make sure to give it a try.
