Pokemon Go Charcadet to Be Egg Exclusive and Very Rare

Update: Trainers, Charcadet is currently hatching from 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km Eggs.

  • 2km Egg – Tier 4
  • 5km Egg – Tier 3
  • 10km Egg – Tier 1

Previous Story: Trainers, Pokemon Go has announced the first event of the new season and what this event will bring.

Niantic and Pokemon Go are celebrating the launch of Pokemon Horizons: The Series in the US, with a special in-game event. This event introduces new Gen 9 Pokemon into the game, but to get them, you must hatch an Egg. Yes, that’s right, Charcadet is locked behind Eggs.

The three new Pokemon making their Pokemon Go debut on March 5, 2024, are Charcadet, Armarouge, and Ceruledge.

You can evolve Charcadet by battling Pokemon while Charcadet is your buddy. It can evolve into Armarouge after you defeat 30 Psychic-type Pokemon, or it can evolve into Ceruledge after you defeat 30 Ghost-type Pokemon. You do not have to defeat these Pokemon with Charcadet.

As a first event post, we expected everything to go well until we got to the part where the new Gen 9 Pokemon, Charcadet, will be available only in Eggs.

They confirmed Charcadet as part of the 2km, 5km, and 10km Eggs, but after the event ends, Charcadet will only be available to hatch from 10km Eggs. We expect the same hatch rate as Larvesta and Frigibax, so trust me, it’s not going to be easy to get it.

Looks like we have to get used to the fact that every new, better Pokemon gets paywalled.
