Previous Story: Trainers, the Chinese New Year 2024 is the Year of the Dragon, and to celebrate, Niantic and Pokemon Go have released a new Lunar New Year: Dragons Unleashed event, and a Global Challenge.
This event focuses on Dragon-type Pokemon and also features a Global Challenge. The Global Challenge: Dragons Unleashed requires players to work together, and make 1,000,000,000 Nice Throws to unlock the bonuses. The rewards for this event include new attacks, different Pokemon in the wild, and new Pokemon in One- and Three-Star Raids.
