Is Fallout 5 on the verge of arrival?

The TV usually guides the trajectories of its video game counterparts, which is simply why the success of Amazon’s Fallout TV series may be setting the stage for an accelerated arrival of Fallout 5. The series’ has all the ability to excite wide audiences and make them seek for such a post-apocalyptic setting, with older titles like Fallout 76 and Fallout 4 experiencing huge amount of players recently, especially with the latter’s Next-Gen Update.

Such an event has put Microsoft into deep thoughts, to possibly expedite the development of the next Fallout chapter. With Bethesda Game Studios traditionally in the leading position and their current focus on other projects, such as Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6, this might find a way for other developers to take the lead.

By potentially fast-coding Fallout 5, it’s undoubtedly a reason that will leverage the peak in franchise popularity. This would possibly make the game a major release in the upcoming years. However, the absence of official confirmations and timelines keeps the community on edge, speculating on every detail from industry insiders like Jez Corden of Windows Central and Rand al Thor 19 from The Xbox Two podcast. As Todd Howard has hinted at Fallout 5 only following after The Elder Scrolls 6, we’re likely to see it happening sooner than later.

Angel Kicevski

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
