Trainers, the Sizeable Surprises event has now started worldwide, and one of the bonuses for this event is “Increased chance to encounter Shiny Wailmer.” Thanks to the Pokemon Go community and numerous reports, we now have the shiny odds.
Sizeable Surprises brings a lot of shiny Pokemon, some of which are making their first appearance in Pokemon Go. Those Pokemon are Shiny Wimpod, Shiny Celesteela, and Shiny Kartana. But many other Pokemon, which already have their shiny forms released in Pokemon Go, can be spotted more often during the event. One of these Pokemon is Shiny Wailmer.
Wailmer appears more often during the event, and the chances of catching a Shiny Wailmer are somewhere around 1 in 50 or 2%. Now, you can catch it in different ways, such as in the wild, after completing the Catch 3 Wailmer event exclusive Field Research task, and as an encounter after completing the Giant Gems Collection Challenge.
The event lasts until April 9, 2024, until 8 pm local time, and our advice is to take advantage of this event and catch all the shiny Pokemon, including the new ones.
