The president of Nintendo has confirmed the next Nintendo Direct and revealed what it will be about. He also confirmed that they are working on a new Nintendo console, but won’t reveal anything about it during this event.
Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa surprised the entire Nintendo community on X today, with a very interesting announcement on X. He announced two very interesting things. The first thing, let’s put it as a more important thing, is that they are working on a new Nintendo console.
He didn’t reveal any details, but he confirmed that there will be an official announcement during this fiscal year, which is April 1st, 2025 at the latest. The other thing he confirmed is the Nintendo Direct event.
The Nintendo Direct event is scheduled for June 2024, and they will reveal the Line-up for the 2nd half of 2024. Unfortunately, and as we already mentioned, they will not reveal details about the new Nintendo console.
We expect them to announce new Pokemon projects in June, but this is just our guess.
