Pokémon GO May 2024 Community Day Event Confirmed, Here are the Details

Trainers, Niantic and Pokémon GO just confirmed the Community Day event in May 2024 and revealed more details regarding featured Pokémon, bonuses, and more.

May 2024 Community Day event marks the seventy-seventh event of this type, and this time Pokémon GO players will have a chance to catch Bounsweet, and its shiny forms, learn new Charged Attack High Jump Kick, enjoy the even exclusive bonuses, and participate in the paid Special Research.

As always, after the Pokémon GO event, players will be able to participate in Bonus Raid Battles and battle and catch Steenee in Four-star Raids.

This event will also bring us new Field Research tasks, web-store deals, event bundles, and new cool stickers.

May 2024 Community Day Features and Bonuses

  • Start time and date: May 19, 2024, from 2-5 PM local time
  • Featured attack: Charged Attack High Jump Kick
  • Special Research story for $1
  • 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
  • 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event
  • 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon
  • Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
  • Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours
  • Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise
  • One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day
  • Trades will require 50% less Stardust
  • Bonus Raid Battles after Community Day featuring Steenee
  • New Field Research tasks
  • PokéStop Showcases featuring Bounsweet
  • Ultra Community Day Box
  • Two Community Day bundles
  • Event-themed stickers
