Epic Games without a preloading option for Control

It seems like the technology isn't there yet

Control is an upcoming third-person action-adventure sci-fi game which revolves around the Federal Bureau. Currently, the game is one day before release, and there’s a new cloud of frustration raising. Being an Epic Games exclusive, the Epic Games Store does not include a preloading feature.

The game is expected to be reasonably large to download, and without a preload option, players will have to download the game once it comes out. This would submerge a precious amount of free time, indeed, as no overnight downloads will be available.

To delve deeper into the story, Tim Sweeney, Epic Games’ CEO, has stated that it is complicated to include a preloading feature, especially for games big as Borderlands 3. The caliber of the game is essential, no matter if it’s a word about a third party title.

Control’s preloading button is currently grayed out, and it is unknown if the game and Epic Games Store developers manage to enable preloading until midnight. There is still a lot of time left, and as time goes by, the inclusion of preloading becomes more dubious.

First discovered by IGN with an intense 13 minutes of narrative gameplay. As a player, you’ll have the opportunity to relive the story of Jesse Faden and set a personal loadout that will serve as useful in every reactive environment. The world in Control is quite unpredictable, which may lead to a series of unexpected events for which you, as a player, need to diminish.

Salvation upon New York is mandatory, as Remedy Entertainment is seeking a way to repopulate its trust among the players. With the first gameplay scent released, players will need to fight a way through the otherworldly threat and master a combination of supernatural abilities.

Control is the next-gen adventure shooter that resembles previous projects of Remedy Entertainment, for which players were first excited. Lots of players expect to be similar to Alan Wake, and you will be destined to clinch the outcome and discover what mystery is upon New York.

Not to mention, the game looks way too creepy judging by the trailers and having the chance to experience it at E3, we can somewhat confirm the game is about to have a strong narrative and exceptional combat mechanics, for which the players will feel satisfied.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
