PUBG Surpasses 70 Million Sales

One of the first to popularize the Battle Royale genre of video games PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds which has about 70 million copies sold across PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 according to PUBG Corporation.

PUBG was initially released into Early Access in March 2017 and officially released in December the same year. The last official sales update on the game was in June 2018 where there were about 50 million sold copies. At this time the game was only on PC and Xbox One and later it was released for the PlayStation 4 in December 2018.

PUBG is also available on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service and was also given away to those who signed up for Google’s Stadia Pro. But it is not known if these contributed to the sales count of 70 million copies.
