deadmau5 is working on his own First-Person Shooter game

It appears that deadmau5 not only knows to compose and create good electronic music but also knows to work in one of the most popular game engines, Unreal 4. Throughout a regular stream, he has showcased his new project, a first-person shooter game he and his team have been working on.

Deadmau5 has also released a lot of tracks in Dota 2, and some of them became very popular back in the days.

Even though he’s known as a DJ and musician, it appears that deadmau5 is ready to open new doors. In a recent Twitch Stream, he presented a bit of gameplay of his new game, which looks quite promising at first look. It seems like a sci-fi first-person arena shooter that already has its core mechanics up and running, so it’s a matter of time when he’ll finish the game.

The game will be client-server, and he has also stated that the servers are already 128 tick that shall contribute to much fairer gameplay. No lag spikes or latency issues should appear, but it remains to be spoken when the game fully releases.

Below you can find the gameplay video.

In the video, he also talks about improving the Sniper by adding a bullet drop and bullet lead. He has also stated that it’s a baby that he wants to play with, and no help is needed regarding developers. He has announced the team working on this game in a thread on Reddit.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
