A new Gears of War sequel is coming out next year, called Gears 5, announced Xbox at E3 2018, featuring Kait Diaz as the main protagonist.
Gears 5 will feature:
- Split Screen;
- Online Co-Op;
- 4K Ultra HD resolution;
- HDR;
- 60 frames per second.

Gears 5Â is coming out in 2019 as Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive.
