PvP Trainer Battles Demo Video Shows Four Unreleased Pokemon, New Loading Screen Leaked

The Executive Editor of news at IGN, Andrew Goldfarb had a chance to try the long-awaited PvP mode in Pokemon Go before everyone else and shared an exclusive video of PvP Trainer Battles, and in some of the battles, you can see four new unreleased Pokemon.

Andrew Goldfarb played the new Trainer Battles mode last week for over an hour and he made a great coverage of the new system. But, what got me curious is the exclusive video and the four new, unreleased Pokemon – Smeargle, Garchomp, Heatran and Regigigas.

Now, in the video below, you can clearly see a full set of animations and textures of these Pokemon.

For those who don’t feel like watching the video (I recommend watching it, as you will find a lot of useful info about PvP Trainer Battles) I’ve made a four in one image.

Most players, including myself, would take this as a tease and/or a leak, but it looks like Andrew Goldfarb played some kind of a God Mode, where you can try all Pokemon in a battle, earn a ‘massive’ amount of items and ‘insane’ Stardust per catch, he explained on Reddit.

It is good to know that Niantic is working on these unreleased Pokemon and testing them for the new PvP mode, as this gives us a slight chance they might come to the game in the near future. However, there is no info on their release at this moment.

One thing is for sure, we won’t be able to choose Ditto or Shedinja for a decent PvP Trainer Battle!

For last, Andrew also had a first look at the new loading screen, and he was kind enough to share it with the rest of the community on his official Twitter account. Take a look.
