We have a new record-setter on our hands! This time, it is the game called Among Us. Over the past weekend, the game had successfully reached around 3.8 million players, as stated by the developers over at Innetsloth.
This amount of players also includes both mobile players and Steam players, and also the ones who play the game on their mobiles. Among Us was released in 2018, and soon enough it made its way to the top. It was also streamed by big content creators such as Sodapoppin, xQc, and many, many more.

The lead programmer at Innersloth, Forest Willard, has said that Among Us has also passed 60 million daily active users. To top this off, they also reached 100 million downloads, most of them coming from iOs and Android.
The player count on Steam for this game is 438,524, as stated by SteamCharts, which puts this game on the top together with CS:GO, Dota 2, and PUBG. Sadly, Innersloth has also said that they decided to cancel the sequel of this game and instead focus on improving the original game.
