Monster Hunter Rise PC port estimated to release next year

Monster Hunter Rise is an upcoming action role-playing game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Switch. It is the sixth mainline installment in the Monster Hunter series after Monster Hunter: World and will be released worldwide in March 2021.

The game has a highly anticipated launch from the RPG’s longtime fans, bringing with it more combat, more palicoes, and tons of unique content. With the game arriving next month, on March 26th for the Nintendo Switch exclusively, many fans are speculating Monster Hunter Rise’s release on other platforms.

In a recent interview with GamesRadar, series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto confirmed that a PC release is already in development but won’t release next year. Rather, the PC port is planned to come out sometime in 2022.

Over the past months, we’ve heard news ahead of the Monster Hunter Rise release. However, Capcom hasn’t said anything about PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S, so we don’t know if they’ll even get their version of the game.
