Rust heading to consoles this Spring

The most popular survival game on Steam is heading to consoles

One of the most authentic, popular, and most played survival games on Steam, Rust is heading to consoles this Spring. Since its launch back in 2013, Rust managed to intrigue a broad gamer population, despite its Early Access tag. With Rust’s arrival on old-gen consoles, Facepunch Studios is looking to attract a much wider player-base.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users will have the opportunity to jump in Rust (most of which might be in the game for the first time) and get greeted or yeeted by enemy players. Most likely the second one, since Rust it’s known for its attractive mechanics, which is most likely a cause due to which players will swarm the servers since day one.

Having the opportunity to fight, craft, build and survive in general, Rust may become your favorite game in the near future. It’s simple, whether managing your thirst, hunger, or tackling enemy players, expect the unexpected. While the game may still be away from joining both new-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, this might become possible.

The first teaser for Rust arriving at the PS4 was published 1 year ago, in which positive comments float heavily, despite its delay. The game was estimated to arrive on consoles in 2020 solely. The players are eagerly waiting for the game to hit both the PS4 and Xbox One consoles, as it has proven to be worthy in the online gaming world.

Not to forget, in Rust, expect toxicity, racial slurs, and “juicy” curses too. Just don’t lose your mind over it.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
