The Metroidvania game genre will be expanded with yet another game approximately two years from now, and the game is called LUCID.
Coming from Apogee Entertainment and Matte Black Studio, LUCID is a side-scrolling action platformer that will be releasing in 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC (via Steam).
From what we know so far, the gameplay of LUCID will be in a crystalline fantasy, with puzzle dungeons, fun abilities and new areas waiting to be explored by the player.
Here is a little bit of information coming from Matte Black Studio founder Eric Manahan:
