Among the exciting additions are Mega Tyranitar, Shiny Mega Tyranitar, Shiny Tyrunt, Shiny Amaura, unique Pokémon from 7 km Eggs, a fresh set of Field Research tasks, and not one but two intriguing Timed Research storylines.
Adventure Week 2023 is a special event introduced in Pokémon Go to celebrate the spirit of exploration and discovery. During this event, Trainers will have the opportunity to embark on thrilling quests, encounter rare Pokémon, and earn exciting rewards. A highlight of the Adventure Week 2023 event is the introduction of two new Timed Research storylines. Both of these storylines come with a series of challenging tasks and enticing rewards. However, it’s essential to keep in mind that the clock is ticking, and both Timed Research quests will expire, including the rewards, on August 2, 2023.
To cater to the diverse community of Trainers, Niantic and Pokémon Go have thoughtfully provided two different Timed Research storylines: one accessible for free and the other through a paid option. Let’s explore the unique features of both:
- The free Timed Research storyline is available to all Trainers without any cost. It offers a great chance for both new and experienced players to partake in exciting challenges and earn valuable rewards. This is also a branching quest.
- For Trainers seeking an extra dose of adventure and exclusive rewards, the paid Timed Research storyline is the perfect choice. While it comes with a nominal fee, the rewards and experiences it offers are truly worth the investment.
As part of Adventure Week 2023, Trainers will have the opportunity to embark on the free “Adventures Near and Far” Timed Research quest. This quest presents Trainers with a unique branching storyline, allowing them to choose between two different paths.
