Niantic, the developer behind the immensely popular mobile game, has a delightful surprise in store for Pokemon GO players., Routes. To celebrate the release of Routes, Niantic and Pokemon Go host a new event “Blaze New Trails.”

One of the most anticipated additions to Pokémon GO is the introduction of Routes. These designated paths lead trainers on exciting journeys, guiding them through unexplored territories and hidden hotspots. As you traverse these Routes, you’ll encounter various Pokémon species and uncover rare treasures.

The Blaze New Trails event marks the debut of a legendary Pokémon known as Zygarde. This enigmatic creature is believed to play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem. To encounter Zygarde, trainers must partake in the “From A to Zygarde” Special Research quest.

During the Blaze New Trails event, Pokémon GO brings a twist to the usual hatching experience. 7km Eggs will contain different Pokémon species, offering trainers the chance to obtain Pokémon that might not be commonly found in the wild.

As you explore the Routes with your trusty Pokémon buddy by your side, you’ll build a stronger bond with them. The Blaze New Trails event comes with a fantastic Buddy Candy Bonus, reducing the distance required to earn Buddy Candy by 2/3.

For trainers who adore Shiny Pokémon, the Blaze New Trails event is an opportunity you won’t want to miss. Throughout the event, the chances of encountering Shiny Yungoos will be significantly increased.

The Blaze New Trails event will kick off on Friday, July 21, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. local time. You’ll have until Monday, July 24, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time to immerse yourself in this grand adventure.
