Pokemon Go Raid Hours schedule September 2023

Raids in Pokémon GO offer an exhilarating blend of challenge and reward. Whether you’re a veteran Trainer or a newbie, they give you the opportunity to capture powerful Pokémon that can be elusive in the wild. As September 2023 rolls around, a new rotation of Raid Pokémon is gearing up to keep you on your toes.

Raid Battles are hosted at Pokémon Gyms and can pop up anytime between 5:00 AM and 7:45 PM local time. When a Raid is about to commence, you’ll see a Raid Egg perched atop the Gym, accompanied by a countdown timer. The Raid itself lasts 45 minutes, providing a generous window for Trainers in the vicinity to participate.

Mark your calendars for Wednesdays. From 6 PM to 7 PM local time, all Pokémon Gyms will initiate a Raid, and we’re talking 5-Star Raids here! This special Raid Hour increases your odds of encountering the assigned 5-Star Raid Pokémon for that particular day.

So, you’re revved up and ready to dive into a Raid? First, you’ll need a Raid Pass. There are three types to choose from:

  • Daily Raid Pass: Spin the Photo Disc at any Gym to claim one of these each day.
  • Premium Raid Pass: If you’ve used up your daily pass but thirst for more Raids, these can be purchased in the in-game Shop.
  • Remote Raid Pass: Ideal for Trainers who can’t get out and about or want to join a Raid happening in a distant location.
