Team GO Rocket Takeover event coming to Pokémon GO, Shadow Regigigas joining Giovanni

Team GO Rocket is back at it again with their evil plots, but Trainers are here to save the world.

Starting October 26, 2023, and ending October 31, 2023, Shadow Regigigas will be waiting for Trainers to save it from the claws of the menaces known as Team GO Rocket.

Finally, after many speculations, there is an official confirmation about Shadow Lugia, and indeed, this Pokémon will be joining the game through Shadow Raids, as well as Shiny Shadow Lugia. This Pokémon will be in Shadow Raids from October 28, 2023, until October 29, 2023.

The Shadow Pokémon (that may turn out to be Shiny Shadow Pokémon) that will be featured in Sierra, Cliff and Arlo’s team are the following:

  • Shadow Gastly
  • Shadow Rhyhorn
  • Shadow Barboach
  • Shadow Cranidos
  • Shadow Shieldon
  • Shadow Drilbur
  • Shadow Litwick

The Shadow Pokémon that will be appearing in Raids are the following:

One-Star Shadow Raids

  • Shadow Fastly
  • Shadow Grimer
  • Shadow Misdreavus
  • Shadow Litwick

Three-Star Shadow Raids

  • Shadow Nidorina
  • Shadow Nidorino
  • Shadow Golbat

The Bonuses that will be active during the event are:

  • Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons
  • Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration

In 12km Eggs, the following Pokémon will be hatching:

  • Larvitar
  • Sandile
  • Pawniard
  • Vullaby
  • Deino
  • Pancham
  • Salandit

Last but not least, there will be Field Research tasks rewarding a Mysterious Component throughout the whole event.
