GTA 6 Trailer Surpasses Lifetime GTA 5 Views, Sets New YouTube Records

The Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer has eclipsed over 101 million views on YouTube, surpassing the lifetime views of its predecessor, GTA 5. This feat, achieved in the mere days following its unexpected release on December 4, 2023, has captivated the gaming community and set new standards for digital engagement.

The rush to release the trailer, triggered by a leak, seems to have only fueled the intrigue and excitement among fans. In less than a day, the GTA 6 trailer was the most-viewed video game reveal in YouTube history, surpassing all prior records. This rapid surge in views is a testament to the enduring appeal and widespread anticipation for the Grand Theft Auto series.

Further adding to its laurels, the GTA 6 trailer now holds the title of the most-liked trailer on YouTube. With over 8.4 million likes, it has outstripped the likes of mega-hit movies like ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and other notable video game trailers such as ‘Battlefield 1 Official Trailer’ by DICE.

Additionally, the GTA 6 trailer took only 13 hours to become the most-viewed non-musical video on YouTube in the first 24 hours, a record previously held by popular YouTuber MrBeast. This accomplishment highlights the trailer’s unprecedented reach and resonance across diverse audiences.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
