GTA 6 Installation Could Hit 228.5 GB According to Leaks, Suggesting Unoptimized Build

GTA 6 is the most anticipated game in the gaming world, and everyone eagerly awaits to learn as much as possible about the game. How big will it be, how much space will it take up, and most importantly, when will Rockstar release it? It is officially 2025, but that does not confirm anything. If they do not complete it in full, it can be extended until 2026.

Rockstar announced GTA 6 on February 4, 2022, on X, confirming they are working on a new project. On December 1, 2023, they broke the record with the GTA 6 trailer announcement tweet and got over 2 million likes. Then, the trailer leaked, and Rockstar shared the teaser trailer on X, reaching over 37 million views, and over 700k likes.

Well, to be honest, the numbers on YouTube are much higher, with over 180 million views, and 11 million likes. This proves how big of an impact this game had, and we expect to break every record when it launches.

Now, it is not known how big the game will be, but according to rumors that are spreading on social networks, the size of the game, or rather the non-optimized version, is said to be 228.5 GB.

To tell you the truth, for the rumored size of the game, we expected it to take up more space than 228.5 GB. However, this has not been officially confirmed, but PC_Focus has been proven many times, so let’s hope it will be right this time too.
