Additionally, personal information such as passport scans of Insomniac employees, including a former employee now at Disney, has been compromised. Among these is a document belonging to Yuri Lowenthal, the voice actor for Peter Parker in the latest Spider-Man game.

The proof-of-hack materials also contain internal emails and confidential documents, demonstrating the extent of the breach.

Rhysida has issued a seven-day ultimatum to Insomniac for the publication of the full data set. In a concerning development, the group is also auctioning the data for a starting price of 50 bitcoins, equivalent to over US$2 million. This situation highlights the growing threat of ransomware attacks in the gaming industry and the need for robust cybersecurity measures.
