Tekken 8 Demo Now Live on PC and Xbox Series X/S

Following its successful launch on the PlayStation 5 last week, Bandai Namco has extended the reach of its highly anticipated fighting game, Tekken 8, by releasing a free demo version for Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam.

The Tekken 8 demo offers players a tantalizing preview of the game’s rich content and innovative features. It includes the first chapter of the Story Mode, titled The Dark Awakens, providing a sneak peek into the game’s narrative. Additionally, players can delve into Chapter 1 of the Arcade Quest, which offers content distinct from the full game, promising a unique experience.

The demo showcases the Versus Mode, allowing players to choose from iconic characters like Jin, Kazuya, Paul, and Nina Williams. The game also features three diverse stages – Yakushima, Sanctum, and Urban Square (Evening) – each offering a unique backdrop for the intense battles. Moreover, the Super Ghost Battle mode is available, presenting a challenge against formidable AI opponents, and the Gallery mode includes cutscenes from previous Tekken games up to Tekken 7.

While online play is not available in the demo, similar to its PS5 counterpart, it still provides a valuable opportunity for players to familiarize themselves with the new Heat mechanics and other systems before the game’s full launch.

Tekken 8 is set to be released on January 26, 2024, and will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too. At the time, I play everything that seems reasonable to play, make content about it and help gamers to the best of my abilities. P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
